Tracy for Model Number Maytag No. MAH6700AWW The washer was on spin dry and I heard a noise, then it sounded like a violent unbalanced load at which point I pushed the off button. I have disassembled the washer and have not found any debris or broken pieces. All rotational items spin freely without noise. When I test the function on an empty spin cycle, the signal goes to the motor, but it does not rotate and makes a noise like a "bad relay". I cannot see anything that looks like a relay. The control board test from the manual that comes with the washer says that the control board is good. I cannot remove the connector from the motor to test the resistance directly. I cannot separate the connectors from the motor to the control board. How do those separate; where is the lock to separate these connectors?
Answer Hello Tracy. If it has a bad relay, you need to order the main control board 34001479. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, December 6, 2013
