Denise for Model Number mah8700aww I have a 2005 maytag neptune washer, everyone keeps talking about a e3 code but my washer is displaying a 3E code is it the same thing..???? When I look it up in the manual E3 it says motor not control board. Washer will wash but throws the code when trying to spin to rinse.. Also will throw code when rinse and spin cycle only.. but will spin on spin only. Do you think replacing motor will do the trick or should I just get a new washer? Please help I called a service dept they came out and charged me $109 to walk in and say its broken what a crock they didnt even test it or try to fix it. I had to cancel the check and what a headache... Please help.
