Dan for Model Number MAH6500AWW I bought my Maytag Neptune Washer in 2003 and it makes alot of noise now when its spinning. I had a repair man that didn't see the machine tell me I needed a new bearing and said its to exspensive to fix and you should just buy a new one.Is that correct or can I fix it without costing to much. What is the part I need and can I fix it myself? Thanks Dan
Answer Hello Dan. Yes, if the bearings are bad, you will need to replace the bearings WP22002934 and WP22003441 and the seal 12002022. These are not easy to install and will need to be pressed into the outer tub assembly, after the old ones are pressed out. Hope this helps. Read More...
