Don for Model Number msd2456geb How do you check the run capacitor to see if its good? The relay that is shown does not look like the one I have. Will it fit my maytag fridge?
Answer Hello Don. You can test the run capacitor with a meter MA-DM1. You should see a spike then a slow drop back to zero. The overload/relay kit 12002794 for your model is different than the original relay. It is designed to work for this model number. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
