The Crisper Pan is an OEM part for Whirlpool refrigerators. This component is designed to store fruits and vegetables in an organized and accessible manner within the refrigerator. It helps maintain optimal humidity levels to keep produce fresh for longer periods. The drawer measures approximately 12.847" Depth x 15.217" Width x 6.93" High. Causes of a bad crisper pan can include cracks or breaks from overloading, impact damage from dropping or mishandling, and wear and tear from regular use. A damaged crisper pan can compromise its ability to maintain proper humidity levels and safely store your produce.

Symptoms of a bad crisper pan include:

  • Cracks or breaks in the pan
  • Difficulty sliding the pan in and out of the refrigerator
  • Reduced effectiveness in keeping produce fresh
  • The pan not fitting securely in its designated slot

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Hello Bob. Make sure the freezer is between 0° and 5°. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
