Alan for Model Number Maytag double oven MEW5627ddb16 The upper oven heats to setting but after a few minutes the bake light starts flashing. I have tried to reset with cancel and shutting off electricity but the error code will repeat itself.
Answer Alan, the blinking bake light is going to indicate that there is an error code stored in the main control. To identify the error code, the cancel and broil buttons will need to be pressed and held until it enters quick test mode. Once this mode is entered, the cook & hold button would need to be pressed.
