Wayne for Model Number KUDP02SRBL0 The dishwasher completely stopped working during the cycle. The was an electrical burning smell. I took the bottom panel off and the pump motor felt pretty warm. None of the control lights will come on. I can't start it. The circuit breaker did not trip and I checked to make sure the circuit breaker is on. Does this mean all of the electrical is failed? Could it be just the sump-motor assembly? Something else? Thanks, Wayne
Answer Wayne, This unit has a thermal fuse located in the control panel. Check to make sure that the thermal fuse is not blown as it should have continuity when testing it. If there is no continuity then replace the thermal fuse. Check the pump to make sure that there is nothing that would be jammed in it that would cause the motor to not turn properly. Read More...
