Pamela for Model Number Kenmore 665-17032 403 When the motor is running makes a very loud whining noise, only when the motor is running otherwise functions fine. Would replacing the motor assembly with AP4434612 be the best remedy or is there another cause for the noise? We noticed on the part description that there could be more than one Thermistor size, how do I determine what size I need for the Kenmore Model above? If I need to change the entire motor are there additional parts needed to be purchased seperately ? If so, what would I need ?
Answer Hello Pamela. Yes, to repair the motor, you can replace part number WPW10780877. For the thermostat, you will need to order WP661566. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, September 19, 2011
