Eddy L. Dishwasher model # 665.13752k602. Symptom: Labored noisy during wash cycles. Seems to spend a long time trying to wash. Normal drain function (swift and normal sounding). Does this machine have two motors? One drain and one wash? In that case it could be the wash motor. If not - is there anyway to get at the wash pump from inside the tub, or do I need to pull the dishwasher and disassemble in the middle of the kitchen? I have cleaned all the particles, lumps and "goo" from the grinder and check valve area as well as all tub parts. I get the symptom even with all the parts removed, so its down under.
Answer Hi. The wash motor is part # WPW10757217. Some smaller hands may be able to reach in from the bottom removed panel and replace the assy. It has a release tab lock on the "twist" on/off replacement. Make sure the new motor mount tab's are aligned correctly just before insertion into the bottom of the sump assy. You may just have to lower it a little and disconnect the tab mount screws to pull the unit half way out and tilt it back enough to remove and replace the motor. Use a little rinse aid on the new motor seal to install it. Thank You. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, November 26, 2012
