Jock for Model Number GBS307 whirlpool Do we need to remove the oven door to get the oven unit out of the cabinet. If so how, if not how do we get the unit out. We have removed the screws from the side panels but the panels will not come off the unit. What are we doing wrong? We need to replace the Thermal fuse, can you help us. thanks Jock
Answer Jock, Once the screws have been removed from the side trim you will pull down and out on the trim, and possibly use a small flat blade to pry the bottom out. Once you do this and pull down the trim should come off and then there will be screws holding the unit into the cabinet. Remove these screws and you will be able to remove the unit from the cabinet.
