Hello Ann, Model MFI2569VEQ1 uses thermistor 12002355 and it is located inside the fresh food upper light assembly as per the manufacturers' service manual. Instructions provided as as follows: Remove upper light assembly by squeezing tabs on each side of the light cover and pull cover down to release it from the holding tabs. Remove the light bulbs and use flat blade screwdriver to release 4 tabs by inserting it in the long slots and prying out. Use a taped putty knife to carefully pry front edge of light assembly plastic housing. When released, disconnect connector that is plugged into the liner. The wires to the thermistor will have to be cut and the thermistor removed from the clip. Splice in the new thermistor and use grease or petroleum jelly to deter corrosion and moisture in the connections. Reassemble in the reverse order.
