John Wood for Model Number ABB192ZDEB My refrigator quit cooling the other day. I first noticed it when I opened up the freezer and the ice was half melted. I checked both of the fans and they are running and the coils were not iced up at all. The compressor seems to be running. I check the thermistos today. The one in the refrigerator was 12.01 K ohm at room temperature and 25.2 K ohm in ice water. The one in the freezer was 14.51 K ohm at room temperature and 22.8 K ohms in ice water. The thing I said 11 K ohm at 72 degrees my house is 64 degrees and 27 K ohm at 32 degrees, did not check the temperature on my ice water. Are these thermistors within range? If the thermistors are all right I guess the next thing to check is the controller board If I can figured that out?
Answer John, With the compressor running but the unit not cooling then this will be a sealed system issue and will need to have service. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Thursday, December 16, 2021
