John for Model Number MFI 2569 YEM2 The freezer temperature is 26 degrees, if you change the temperature setting on the door the temp will go down to 23 degrees. The refrigerator temperature is where it is supposed to be. The condenser fan is blowing fine. The compressor cycles on and off as required to maintain temperature. I’m thinking a bad thermister in the freezer. What do you think?
Answer Hello John, You may want to pull the rear cover off the freezer compartment and check your frost pattern. Your frost pattern should be full frost pattern should cover the entire evaporator coil. If the coils are impacted or the coils do not have a full frost pattern then this will keep the unit from cooling properly. Also make sure your vents have not become blocked.
