Mrfixit for Model Number WRF560SMYW Whirlpool 2 door Fridge/Freezer on bottom (Model WRF560SMYW) Issue: Freezer Fan Making Noise Ice is building up. Defrost 1 month ago, Now it needs it again. Repair guy says I need a Sensor (W10316760 & I need a Main PCB (W10547719). I am very handy but need guidance on why these two items are needed and if indeed they are needed, where to buy and maybe a video on the install? thanks in advance.
Answer MrFixit, Unfortunately we do not have a repair video or installation instructions on this part. You would have to remove the baskets and freezer door in order to replace the sensor. The rear wall in the freezer will need to be pulled out. There are screws holding the freezer rear panel on and the thermistor will be right there.
