Mike for Model Number WRF555SDFZ03 I bought this off a private party however it was never unpacked and all still in original packaging. From day one everything is freezing in the fridge no matter what I set the temp to. It has a digital display that allows the fridge to be set as high as 44deg F. I can not get the actual temp above 30. The freezer is set to 5deg F and it is anywhere between -10 and 0. The compressor does not appear to be running all the time, and I can see the fan in the bottom rear corner cycle on and off. I assume this fan only runs when the compressor is? I suspect this is a temp sensor problem with the freezer section, thus still pulling the fridge down despite the damper door trying to close. Where should I start? Thanks in advance for your help.
Answer Mike, You will want to test the thermistors to make sure that they are good. The resistance should be 2.7K ohms at room temp. If this checks ok then the issue will most likely be that the control board is not reading thermistors properly. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, December 11, 2017
