David for Model Number GSF26C5EXW00 The diffuser door/flap between fridge/freezer (on fridge side) is cycling open/shut every 5 seconds or so with a very loud slap when it closes. How can I tell if the problem is the diffuser itself or something else like a timer or thermisol?
Answer Hello David, the diffuser is controlled by the rear main control board. It is cycled open for cooling the fresh food section and closes once the correct temperature is reached.
