Hugh for Model Number Kitchenaid KRSF505ESS My icemaker quit working. I jumped the gun and replaced the ice making unit first and that didn't solve the problem. Before I throw more time and money at this, what would you recommend?
Answer Hello Hugh, the freezer temperature should read about 0-5 degrees to start, next check under the freezer door lower hinge where the wire harness connects it to the cabinet and check for any wire problems, the freezer door inner liner should depress the light switch fully. The manufacturer has included a Technical test sheet with your model it is located under/behind the front lower grill and can be used to test the ice maker. Read More...
