Ben for Model Number 10651713410 Food freezes in fridge side. Temperature in freezer tested to be -2F while set to 4F. Temperature in fridge tested to be 24F while set to 37F. At first I thought it was an air damper probably so I bought a brand new one and replaced it. Problem still exists. Is it possible to tell if it is a temperature sensor (fridge) problem or a main board problem without opening to check main board?
Answer Ben, Based on the information provided it is likely to be the sensor or the board. The sensors can be checked for resistance, if good then the board. You should have a tech sheet packaged with the refrigerator that should give you the resistance readings for the sensors. Read More...
