Randy H. for Model Number MAYTAG LAT9557AAE TOP LOAD WASHER When on "normal" cycle the agitator does not turn. Sounds like it wants to turn but it stays in one position. When you turn it to "delicate" cycle the agitator does rotate. Will tearing down the transmission reveal anything or is it possibly something else besides the transmission. Thanks
Answer Hello Randy, This will almost certainly be the timer WP22004262 since everything else driving the agitator is the same as used in the delicate cycle.
