Mark for Model Number Kenmore dishwasher # 665. 134002N410 my dishwasher Top rack has not been cleaning well, replaced the spray arm manifold (seals were bad on original )didn't help, notice the upper spray arm doesn't turn while running, filters are clean, water level is good, motor runs water spraying all over, upper spray arm squirts water from all ports, but doesn't spin . Notice the red painted ports on the spray arm is about gone, why do the new arms have red painted spray ports ?? trying to figure this DW out ! Thanks,,,Mark
Answer Mark, if the spray jets of the upper arm WPW10498900 have become wallowed out or deformed, it would need to be replaced. Deformed jets can cause a loss in pressure which will cause the arm to not rotate. Clogged jets can do the same thing and the jets can be cleaned. Read More...
