Jim for Model Number rmc275pvb01 Followup to previous question. If the top element is not heating, but the bottom element is heating - does that eliminate the thermal overload as a possible problem? The control board is $260 and I want to be sure that is what is causing the problem before I buy it. Is there a way to test the control board?
Answer Hello Jim. It sounds like the board. You can test for the board sending power to the element. If not, the board is bad. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
