David B. for Model Number RBD245PRS00 I had to have the control board replaced a year ago. Now the oven is dead: no display. The oven door is locked. Can you please suggest how to figure out which part is bad? Am I better off to buy the controller, thermal sensor, and transformer, and return what I don's use? Thanks
Answer Hello David, You will need to check the junction box where the electrical connections are connected to the home wiring and check the terminal block for loose connections. A loose connection will cause an increase in resistance which increases current flow. The control may still need to be replaced but correcting a connection issue will possibly prevent a repeat of the failure. Read More...
