Jason for Model Number GBS307pdq3 Hello, My whirpool oven keeps tripping the thermal overload each time we clean it. I have replaced the thermal overload twice, the second time I also replaced the cooling fan. Everything else works well and I checked for a blockages in the air flow. Also this oven is 11 years old and we have never had a problem with the cleaning cycle in the past. Is there a differrent model thermal overload or a heavy duty one?
Answer Hello Jason. The oven sensor WP4451665 may be bad and allowing the oven to over heat and blow the thermal overload. If you replace the sensor and the problem continues, then the control will need to be replaced on the unit. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, January 6, 2012
