Loyal Customer for Model Number WDF330PAHS3 Hello Great People. Heated Dry has conked out on this 2 year old Whirlpool dishwasher unit. (1). I promise. I read the owners manual that has no repair instructions in detail. . (2). I’m hoping to get lucky. Is there a reset button ? I don’t see one. (3). I suspect the heating element burned out. Can we test the element without removing the entire unit ? I’m an old goat, but I think I can find my electrical testing devise for continuity. I last used it in 1984. ( 4). What other parts do you suggest if we order a new element ? Washers ? Thermostat ? (5). I promise. I try to never send anything back. What is return policy ? Thank you for your valuable time ! Sincerely, Roman in New Mexico …p.s…Need a laugh ? Whirlpool lady on toll free line was not at all helpful. No, I was never rude. She ( a laid off airline stewardess ) said she could could not help me, but she could send me a 20 percent discount coupon on a new Whirlpool . What ? Why would I buy from them again , it their unit conked out in only 24 months ? Whirlpool customer service agents must be on acid.
Answer Loyal Customer, There is a thermostat on the dishwasher that you would want to test for continuity and you can test the heater for continuity. It would be recommended to slide the unit out and at least lay it on its back because the space that is afforded underneath is minimal and they usually have the heater element terminals in the back. If both the heater and the thermostat are good then he control panel will be the issue. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, October 5, 2021
