Bill P for Model Number rtw4640yq The cold water fills fine, the hot water fills fine, but when set on warm, only cold fills, therefore we cannot wash in warm water. The machine is brand new, and has had the problem since day one. I would rather fix it myself if I can, rather than deal with a warrenty repair. Please advise. Thanks

If you set it to warm, it is going to switch between hot and cold to make a warm mixture, that really is more cold than warm. Here is the reason. Your clothes clean better in cold than they do in warm. In cold water, the pores of the clothing open and allow water to p[ass through. In hot or warm, these pores close and restrict the water from cleaning the stuff. But, you need to hot water in the start of the cycle to break down the soap. So, based on the information you provided, It sounds like the washer is working as it was designed to do. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, May 7, 2013
