Description

This is a replacement chute rotation switch designed for use on snowblowers. During operation, the snowblower's auger breaks up the snow and ice and then moves it through the chute. However, the chute must be able to move in order to ensure that the snow is directed out of the path of the machine, as well as away from other objects. Manual chutes can be difficult to use, so remote control systems were developed. The chute rotation switch allows users to rotate the snowblower chute with the touch of a button. However, like all electronic components, the switch is subject to wear and tear. The contacts inside the old switch can wear out, and the wiring harness can become damaged, and more. Signs of trouble include intermittent chute operation, or the chute not rotating when the switch is used.
