How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP2802454 / 00267739 Pump Housing, Rear (Softer Bearing)

Watched AppliancePartsPros video, disassembled the dishwasher and replace impeller and seals. 

Needed to verify that the probable cause of the noise was the actual failure, so followed the disassembly phase of your outstanding video on how to replace the impeller. Confirmed that, yes, the impeller was indeed worn out and had separated. Ordered replacement parts from your website, made easier by all the pictures provided. All of the parts arrived in three days as promised. Completed the repair by following the video step-by-step. Could not have completed this project without your excellent catalog of parts and videos. Thanks for helping me save nearly $1000 in replacement costs. 

Replaced the pump housing and impeller. The accompanying video made it easy. No trouble at all. 

Using a combination of videos from youtube and appliancepartspros.com, I narrowed down the issue to the circulation pump. The motor was fine but the impeller piece had broken off. After replacing the rear pump housing and installing the circulation pump repair kit everything is running fine. The job seemed very overwhelming at first but using the videos helped get me through... 

I was able to temporarily glue the halves of the impeller together. That lasted one year but with reduced washing performance. The pump housing was very brittle and was deteriorated also. The new parts arrived very quickly and fit perfectly. My wife and I are happy to not be washing dishes by hand. 

I replaced the impeller and the pump housing.

After finding that the impeller in this 15-year-old dishwasher was broken by a few unpopped popcorn kernels, I was relieved to find not only the parts I needed, but a very helpful instructional video provided by Appliance Parts Pros. The model used in the video was slightly different from mine, but it was mainly sound insulation, side panels, and an additional ground wire, which were easy enough to figure out on my own. Removal of the water supply line (which was not shown in the video) was more complicated than I anticipated because the original installation used a copper pipe, instead of a braided-stainless flexible hose. Overall, the repair went smoothly as depicted in the video.
