How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP2834000 / 00431413 Top Dispenser

Replaced dispenser. It was hard to snap into place. You don't need to order separate gasket it comes with it. 

I ordered the part from ApplianceParsPro.com. It arrived in about 2 days. Checked out a YouTube video on how to remove the old one and put in the new one. Piece of cake 

Our 15 year old Bosch dishwasher started leaking Rinse Agent on silverware, leaving a sticky residue. The root cause is the wear on the little rubber seal on the rinse agent valve over time. The whole assembly is easy to replace, once the door skin is removed with just a little fighting with the metal clips as others have stated. My main reason for this review, however, is it was unclear to me if the dispenser gasket came with the dispenser or not. I erred on the side of caution and did order a gasket separately - which was unnecessary. The gasket comes with the dispenser. Hopefully some of you can avoid ordering an unnecessary spare gasket. Appliance Parts Pros did a great job - correct part came quickly with no hassles of any kind. 

I did research about that problem. I pulled the door cover off and determined that the part that trips the door to open was frozen in place and there was no way for me to free it. I easily found the detergent dispenser listed and ordered it. When it came, I replaced the dispenser and now it works like new. 

The problem was a defective soap dispenser. You Tube showed the way to replace the dispenser and the part went in easily. When I took the dishwasher door off, something fell on the floor and I couldn't see where it came from. This became the biggest issue. I ended up contacting the people at Appliancepartspros and sent them a picture of the "part". They informed me that it wasn't a "part" from the dishwasher but a "part" from a sippy cup!! Thanks Appliancepartspros. 

Part was perfect but no instructions how to replace. had to google it. but it went well. 

Repair was simple (15 minutes) after extensive testing and decision to purchase part. Return policy was very helpful in decision to repair. 

I went online to find others had a similar problem. They ordered parts from Appliance Pros so I did the same. Easy fix shown on You Tube. Great deal on parts and shipping from Appliance Pros. I will order from them again next time I need parts.

I found the replacement Soap Dispenser on Appliance Parts Pros and when the confirmation email arrived, it also had a video showing the replacement of the Gasket, which also showed me how to remove the Soap Dispenser. This was wonderful because when the part arrived 2 days later, I knew how to remove and replace the part, which saved me potentially hours of trouble! I had the part replaced in about 15 minutes and it works flawlessly! Having a company with the part in stock, at a reasonable price, AND having them send a DIY video like that is the kind of company I want to work with!
