How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP2106894 / 131446202 Asmy - Timer Knob Whi

With the complete kit from Appliance parts pro great parts less than a minute fix took long to find the needle nose pliers than it did to install the new part 

I did it the hard way and I won't bother to explain with what I did, but all you will need to do is UNSCREW the old and screw on the new. No tools required. 

Ordered the part on line, easily chosen by the schematic which came up with the serial/model number. After reading the part reviews realized it would be easy to replace. Just unscrewed the old piece that was still in the washer using the pliers I already had handy and hand screwed the new one in place. Perfect in less than a minute. Best money I spent in a long time! Thought I might need to get a new machine. 

Replaced the knob. 

All five pieces shown came assembled, so after I unscrewed the old piece with pliers, the new assembly screwed on and I was done! Less than five minutes for the repair. 

Replaced broken part 

Screwed old broken part off and installed new knob 

I ordered the part and as soon as I received it, install it right away by using a long nose plier to remove the old broken knob by turning it counter clockwise then install the new knob clockwise. Less than five minutes job. 

Repair was simple. I could not get enough of a grip with my fingers to unscrew the inner ring of what remained of the knob, so used a pair of pliers to grab it and get it started. After that it was simple: unthread the piece of the old knob, screwed the new knob on, and it was up and running again. 

Easy fix with the correct part. It came super fast too
