How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3214082 / 216848200 Basket

My husband used a screw gun and it took him 2 minutes at the most. He said it was a piece of cake. 

Baskets arrived promptly, fit perfectly. Problem solved. Very smooth transaction. 

Checked with Appliance Pros and they had baskets that would fit. I had called Frigidaire earlier and they said that they had no part numbers for anything on my model. Ordered 2 baskets from Appliance Pros and they fit perfectly. (original basket supplied with was metal, these are plastic) 

Just put baskets in 

Researched and found a run capacitor and a controller on the schematic, only components that could affect this condition, in this pretty simple unit. New parts arrived, no tools involved, just R&R the parts and when power was restored, it fired right up!! Our “free” freezer cost us less than $100 to get running again! Now it can live on for years to come, instead of taking space in a landfill!! 

The baskets were the same size as the original ones... 

Ordered 2 new top baskets. 

Ordered a new one. Simple swap out. Easy peasy. My Frigidaire freezer is from 2004 and Appliance Parts Pros made it very simple - glad I found you guys! 

Ordered tray and it fit perfectly, 

Ordered baskets from another vendor - too small. Ordered wire baskets from AppliancePartsPros and they were too small also. Was able to return them and purchase the plastic baskets which fit my freezer perfectly.
