How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4315853 / 5304464438 Compressor Run Capacitor

I received the items that I thought I needed in a very short time. Replaced both items, not knowing if either or both were needed. There was a small amount of ice on the evaporator, not as much as I expected. After the repair was completed, I started the refrigerator and so far, it is working as it should. 

Replaced the compressor run capacitor as recommended and the refrigerator/freezer working normally. Thank you Appliance Parts Pros for helping me complete the task. You are the best..... 

I replaced the compressor run capacitor and the defrost thermostat. I used Appliance Parts Pros videos on YouTube to guide me through the process. Both parts came quickly, which was a huge relief. They were fairly easy to replace and together these two parts fixed the problem. All told, about an hour was spent on the repairs. We spent $60.60 in parts and got our fridge working in less than three days! 

After watching videos....ordered parts (2) that I thought was needed. 

So, watched a video at AppliancesPtsPros. bought the Capacitor, install went smooth and problem solved. 

Replaced defrost heater,thermostat and timer. Also replaced run capacitor just because it was not expensive and did not know how old it was. This is a 22 year old white-westinghouse model frig but compressor and freon seem ok, so did not want to buy a new one yet. Hardest part was taking my time to disassemble everything as the on line videos are all for newer models. Everything seems to be working good now but time will tell. I may change out the temperature controller and fan motor in a month or so if everything stays running good. 

Tested my compressor per you tube and determined that my relay was bad. Replaced it with a new one and “boom”, I’m a refrigerator technician. 

After talking to one of your customers service, I order a compressor Run Capacitor and a Starter. The refrigerator is not making noise now. I had someone to put the parts in.. 

Compressor not working, starter burnt out. Verified parts on website, ordered and replaced. 

Had to a order another part. A run compacitor.
