How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3959552 / 240337712 Dairy Door (Clear)

Replace it 

I ordered the parts for a second-hand Frigidaire/Elextrolux refrigerator. Easy breezy! Arrived ahead of time. The video shorts were very helpful. The rest of life should be this smooth. 

I installed the new parts. fit like a glove 

Bought replacement part-perfect fit 

Replaced the pieces 

Ordered new fresh food door gasket. I was wary that the description stated the gasket could be soaked in warm water and dried with a hair dryer to straighten it out, expecting it to arrive folded up in a tiny package, but it came in a box the size of the fridge door that was custom made to keep the gasket in it’s natural shape: a big rectangle. Fit was perfect, despite the description’s dimensions being off by an inch, by my measurements. It did say approximate dimensions. Also replaced a door rack and the butter door. Perfect fits. Butter door packaging indicated it was OEM. Everything seemed OEM to me. Satisfied customer. 

I ordered the replacement parts online. The parts arrived quickly. Once they arrived I removed the old cracked pieces and snapped the replacements in place. 

I simply took the old one off and put the new one on. All I had to do was put in one screw. It was very easy. 

Just snapped in the new door. 

Bought a new one.
