How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP2584268 / 5303925377 End Cap Set

This freezer is 30 years old. Amazingly, the clips for the retainer bracket were still available. Repair took 30 seconds. 

Put in new end caps 

By ordering new shelf brackets. 

Ordered new brackets. 

Ordered a new pair. Which are re-designed are much more sturdy. Good show all around. Regards R. Mckee 

Ordered two sets of end caps. Fit great. Very solid. 

Ordered 2 new end caps,put them in the appropriate slots. 

First of all I purchased this freezer in 1972 didn't think I could find the parts needed to repair the door rails. I was impressed that the parts were available. ordered parts on line received them in less than 2 days installed them with no tools needed. 

Installed new end caps on shelf rod, inserted into freezer door.
