How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4368805 / 137006200 Frigidaire Drawer Latch

Removed drawer and replaced broken latch. Received part the day after it was ordered. Great shipping. 

I removed the two nuts and bolts from each side of the drawer to release the drawer from the tracks. Then removed the broken latch and replaced with the new one. Re-installed the drawer, all is fine

Replaced the latch. The staff at Appliance Parts sent the right part and the job was a snap. The appliance was purchaced at Lowe's , who didn't have any idea where to get the part i needed.tThis company was great to deal with and i will go to them again if needed. John 

Ordered a latch and replaced it. Works fine now. 

Found the latch part here on appliancepartspros.com and read from others with similar issue. With no experience, it took me roughly 5-10 minutes with a screwdriver and socket to remove the two screws from the drawer guide, remove the drawer, replace the latch unit and then replace the drawer. It was so easy and now my drawer closes again! Thank you for giving me the confidence to DIY my washer! 

Both parts came within days of being ordered. The gasket on the oven was fairly simple to replace. However, the drawer lock was a unique issue. Had it not been for the instructions from Parts Pros I would have never figured out how to install the replacement part. I now have a oven light burned out on the oven and I know where to get the part and where to get the "how to" to fix it. Thank you AppliancePartsPros.com. 

Ordered striker and latch to replace faulty parts. 

The repair dept. in the store where I purchased it told me I had to remove the washer from the top of the pedestal. I questioned the logic of that and found 2 small screws hold the drawer on. I removed the screws and lifted the drawer out exposing the latch. I ordered the latch which is a captive part from APP. Com. I checked with several suppliers and Appliance Parts Pros was less expensive than other suppliers by a tiny amount. Electrolux/Whirlpool should be ashamed to sell a cheap little plastic part for $36+. I won’t buy another appliance from them unless they change their monopolistic ways . The Japanese and Korean appliance companies are less greedy.
