Bernard V Narragansett , RI February 19, 2020 Front loader would not go into high speed spin Washer would only go into high speed spin when drum was empty or very little in it, a few small towels. I replaced the drive motor and drive belt (old belt didn't look bad) but why take a chance and I had everything apart so why not change the belt. I also changed a noisy water pump. Code e53 Since this machine is 15 years old, I replaced the main control board, the motor control board and the motor. Diagnostics pointed to an issue with either the motor or the control board. Alan L Avon , IN May 22, 2016 Appliance: Frigidaire Washer ATF6000FS0 Motor didn't seem to be operating correctly spin cycles were slow as were agitation cycles Removed the inner back panel consisting of six phillips' head screws. Removed the belt. Removed the 3 mounting 5/16" head screws. Disconnected power connector and ground. Removed old motor. Installed new, 3 mounting screws. Reconnected power and ground.
