How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4353854 / 134844470 Selector Switch Knob

Cofirmed and ordered replacement part needed.Part delivered in two days.Opened package and installed. 

Opened the control panel, unscrewed switch and then reassembled. Hardest part was figuring out how to open panel up. Parts fit perfectly and with new knob it looks like new. Works great and saved a ton of cash. 

Replaced the dryer heater, and for good measure the limit and thermostat switches. My whole experience with Appliance Parts Pros was exceptional. We ordered both parts from appliancepartspros.com, unplugged the stackable from the electric outlet, took off the front edging of the dryer where all knobs are, replaced the inside piece, put the front back on, put the new knob on and it was done!

Just had to pop it on. Fixed. But the story starts with my wife and I stated my in our neighbor's weekend home down on the coast of Mississippi. They let us stay there for a week to get away and didn't charge us a thing. They're great people. 3rd day there, we break their dryer knob. We were stressed that we wouldn't be able to find the part and even if we did, would we get it in time before we left. Success! We're honest people so we told them anyway, of course. Then I broke their broom. Luckily, a Lowe's was right around the corner. Ha!
