How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP5803890 / 240358008 Freezer Shelf

Didn't want a four legged free standing shelf. I gave AppliancePartsPros.com the dimensions of my freezer and they told me what shelf would suit my needs. I ordered it on their website and it was delivered promptly. The shelf fit perfectly. I now have a fully functioning and organized freezer with lots of storage space. 

I could not find this rack anywhere other than Appliance Parts Pros. It was ordered, shipped, and received in three days. It was a slip in installation so it took only a minute to install. 

Freezer was missing a shelf, but there were holes to put one in. Ordered this part even though it wasn’t supposed to be for my model and it worked! It was a bit of struggle to put it in but the shelf is really secure. I ordered the end caps for it as well. Shipping was fast, I got the part in 2 days after ordering. 

The Frigidaire Model #FRT8B5EW4 does not come with a freezer wire rack, but this item bought fit in it perfectly to create an extra shelving area in the refrigerator. 

Ordered shelf and clips 

I went on line at 3:30pm and ordered a new shelf. I paid for regular shipping expecting to wait 3 to 6 days because of the July 4th holiday. The shelf arrived early afternoon the next day. AMAZING SERVICE. 

Ordered new metal shelves 

Bought the replacement and watched the video on how to install - which was absolutely necessary because I couldn’t figure out how to get the old shelf out! 

I ordered my new Freezer wire shelf part from Appliance Parts Pros dot com, and received it very quickly. Easy installation - just slide in and snap into place. 

The replacement shelf you sent me fit perfectly. I snapped it back in place and it was returned to like new condition. We then replaced the rusting freezer shelf. Our daughter came over and looked at our refrigerator and asked if she and her husband could have it? Of course. They had bought a new house with an unreliable fridge and are getting good use out of it. Thanks for your help.
