How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP6996179 / 137513712 Striker

Ordered two replacement strikers. Dropped one of the existing screws and had to drive to a hardware store to replace, ie: $0.16 per screw. Then found out replacement striker did not have a bumper for the lid. Had to use old bumper. Only required a Philips Head screw driver. Beware you will most likely lose a screw. THIS REPLACEMENT SHOULD BE A SET, ie: striker, screws and bumper. Lid should be replaced because it is warped, but at $200+ forget it. 

Got new one very fast here, two screws and new part in, still have to fix electrical part to make switch work, another story later. 

Replaced it. 

Replaced with new one took longer to open package then to replace it. 

It was a simple fix but everything about getting the right part fast was 100% perfect. It was the best customer service i have ever seen. AMAZING. Thats why I am taking the time to write this note.
