How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP7195057 / 5304532206 Trap

In order to ensure it was fixed with my first attempt, I ordered more parts than was actually needed. Nothing is worse than to order a part or parts to repair something and then discover additional parts are needed. The parts were received within 24 hours of being ordered. Thank you AppliancePartsPros.com! The entire repair took no more than 5 minutes and the unit once again worked as it was intended. 

I replaced the parts including the brace piece below it which had also had melted. Note to make to twist the stem until it locks in place or the water stream will blow it off and it will happen again.

Took a little longer than estimated cause the video didn't say where the channel was took awhile to figure it was in the plastic cover on the inside. Now the door shuts real hard and seal very tightly. 

Ordered new lower spray arm. No tools required to replace. Detached faulty spray arm and snapped on new spray arm. 

Ordered the parts with no model number as it wore off, went by pictures. The delivery service was beyond expectations and happily the parts fit. Thank you for the pictures within the grid, very helpful and for next day service, great experience all around. 

My wife ordered the arm and the other two parts that were recommended (we did not NEED the 2 extra parts but used them as well). No tools necessary, just pull out damaged arm, put new one in. No tools, just clean the heating ring carefully to remove the burr plastic. 

These guys are amazing. VERY good diagrams. I spent about 90$ total plus next day shipping. The tutorials were amazing. I read the diagram, matched model numbers, and the rest is history. Great site, great people, great live chat help. 

Fixing the Glass Trap was super super easy (I'm not even that handy) but just watching the repair videos available on appliancepartspros was enough information for me to fix it alone. I initially called a handyman / plumber to do it for me and they quoted me at $150 plus parts. Obviously I was able to fix it by my self and saved a bunch of money. I will definitely be back (although I hope nothing breaks ever again). 

Removed the old parts, recorded the part numbers, ordered new
