I watched a YouTube video on what was causing the two error codes. They diagnosed it as either a clogged drain or a bad MCU. I went easiest first, cleaned the drain. Found a dollar bill and a 5” decking screw along with a clump of Labrador Retriever hair. (Didn’t solve my issue of the washer drum turning. So I ordered the MCU from Appliance Parts Pros. 3 days later it’s back up and running like brand new. The hardest part of the repair was getting behind the washer, and the overkill of 1/4” screws the folks at Whirlpool thought was needed to hold the back panel on. The replacement of the MCU was easy. A 3 year old could do it. (When replacing the back panel I skipped every other screw hole down the sides. In case I ever have to remove it. It’s not going anywhere or falling off....)
