How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2634727 / WB30M1 6 Inch Small Surface Element

I did have the brochures for the appliance so I had a vague idea of what I was asking for but your organization gave me the confidence I needed to order the part. I looked up your website and got the serial /part numbers from my stove and found the elements. Waited for the parts to arrive in mail, put them on and they fit perfect! Glad to find your web page and will continue to use it for any home repair appliance parts to be fixed. :) 

Diagnosed that element was not heating, infinite switch not working. Replaced the infinite switch, terminal block clip, and 6" surface element. 

Easy to order new element and replace it. 

Replaced old burner with new "Genuine GE" burner from AppliancePartsPros.com. 

Appliance part Pros was the only site I found, (after days of looking) that had the parts and delivered them to me within a few days from when I ordered, and they were good quality stove top heaters that worked well and I didn't have to replace my stove, which is built into the cabinets...Thank you folks so much for saving me many problems and headaches! 

Replaced with new ones ordered from Appliance Parts Pros and also decided to replace the elements to refresh the stovetop . All arrived within 2 days and they were the right size and stove looks great! 

So I ordered all new burners and bowls from appliance parts pros. Got new parts in a few days, and they were the exact parts. I installed them and now they are working terrific. 2 thumbs to you guys. 

I was worried the bowls would not fit. Over the years I seldom had ones that did. I am 75 years old and I thought I would need assistance with the electric thing. The bowls fit and the electric thing was Easy Peasy ! 

It's just plug in, no problem
