How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2028218 / WB32X107 6" Drip Pan

I am delighted to report that the drip pans fit perfectly! I will definitely be a repeat customer. 

Take out old ones and put in new ones. Tools used was my 2 hands. Hope this one last longer. 

Direct swap. 

The repair was simple after getting the Model number of the unit. I searched the AppliancePartsPros.com website for my model number, confirmed part numbers with an excellent customer service rep on the phone who answered all my questions. Placed order which shipped the same day. I did find that the best method of installation is to assemble the burner into the drip pan first to make sure the burner is set exactly within the pan; then install that assembly into the stovetop. The total time amounted to about 15 minutes. Easy with the right parts!

I tore apart the burners and drip plates to find the serial number. I was able to order original parts that fit perfectly. Generic did not work! This is a 1974 stove original to the house and in great condition. Happy that you had the parts. 

Ordered, waited, and installed 

I purchased new drip pans from places like Wal-Mart and Lowes and they didn't quite fit right. So I searched for ones that were made for my specific stove. I am extremely happy that the ones I purchased here fit perfectly! My stove is back to use again! 

Ordered new ones, dropped them in and voila! 

Unplugged element took out old drip pan and put new one in plugged element back in
