How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3861005 / WD22X10046 Center Wash Arm Assembly

Ordered the parts, put them in and they worked perfectly! Easy to order, and saved me hundreds! 

Replaced all the related parts. 

Determined that the mid spray arm was loose and worn where it spins. Removed the spray arm with a 1/4” socket and ratchet also removed the mid hub with the same tool. Installed the new hub then the spray arm and bearing (stainless steel washer). Simple repair and no more noise. 

Replaced all three rinse arms as they are not designed to be pulled apart, cleaned, and reassembled. It was very easy to switch them out, but do note that the parts don't come with the associated screws and washers, so save them from the arms you remove! 

Ordered new dishwasher arm and the screw that holds it in place. Repair took about ten minutes to remove old arm and screw and then to put new parts on. Part was exactly the same as original and easy to install. 

We bought the parts above (after trying to clean out our own parts, which had an endless supply of detergent/mineral deposits in them) and my wife put them in while I was at work. The hard water here, and let's face it, a kind of cheap dishwasher, has meant we are not crystal clear, but it is a huge improvement. All the dishes get clean, even if the glasses aren't spotless. Probably bought us another 3-4 years on this appliance, which will get us to our planned (heh) kitchen remodel. 

Replaced all three sprayer arms and the filter on bottom of dishwasher. 

I replaced the sprayer arms and it works like new!!! No more grungy dishes!!!

Very straight forward replacements. I used a socket wrench to remove/replace the spray arms. Your website made it very easy for me to find the right parts.
