How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3793089 / WB29K10023 Gas Cooktop Burner Cap (Medium)

By ordering the parts that I requested, all problems were fixed and I am so very happy. They worked perfectly for us. We had checked with a couple of appliance shops and they told us the parts were discontinued. (since my cooktop was ordered originally in 2007) By going onto GE site directly and getting updated part numbers, we were able to order these parts with no problem, and with assurance that they could be returned if necessary.

Replaced the worn out parts 

I am actually glad for this opportunity to tell you thanks for getting our parts to us so quickly! The burner caps just lift off and you put the new ones on, but they were for our rental and the new tenant was scheduled to move in right away so I had told her the caps were on order. But they came so soon I had the new ones in before she got the key! Thanks you. Oh, and I was able to find the replacement parts even though there is no model number on the range.
