How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2031021 / WB44X173 Oven Broil Element

Using the instructional video and my limited skill set, I tackled the project. The ordered element fit perfectly into my forty-year old oven, and I successfully completed the install. Happy wife, happy life. 

The parts came in fast.One element burned out the was changed years ago. So I ordered both and changed both. Great experience parts came fast I reviewer video then replaced elements. 

Researched the oven element I needed on AppliancePartsPros.com and the element arrived the next day. Simple to remove and install. 

I ordered a replacement oven bake element and decided to replace the broiling element at the same time so I ordered it as well. They arrived within 3 or 4 days and were very easy to replace. They both work perfectly.

First let me say I was totally amazed that my replacement part arrived the day after I ordered it! Thank you. The video on replacement was helpful, in that it pointed out a few crucial tips on securing the wiring. However, no fault of yours but one wire was so short (on the appliance) that disconnection and reconnection was really difficult. Luckily my handyman doesn't give up easily. And being an upper burner it was very awkward to work on. However, I was very please with the result. SInce my oven is still in great shape I saved thousands of dollars in not having to replace a double wall oven, with a $25 part? Yay!
