How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3792968 / WB28K10222 Burner Cap Assembly

Cleaning the slots on the burner did nothing. I replaced the brass nozzle to no avail. Finally replacing the burner fixed the issue and now the flame is nice and even. Still I do not see any visual issue with old burner, but it is clearly the culprit. 

Ordered new parts 

Remove and replace 

Ordered a new burner and burner cap, dropped them in and all is good again. 

Ordered one, got it in a few days, works wonderful! Very happy with the results! Thank you so much. 

Replaced the Burner Cap Assembly. 

Replaced w/ new ones. Hey presto- done! 

Bought the replacement Burner Caps. 

Replaced both the burner and the burner cap. Took less than a minute and the problem was solved. Great to have a correct flame again! 

Easy, took the burner off ,replaced it with the new one and installed the 2 new caps. Piece of cake.
