How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3140283 / WB02X10700 Charcoal Filter

My grandson moved into an apartment where the vent hood filter had greasy paper towels put between the charcoal and metal in the filter! It was beyond cleaning. There was no identifying logo on the vent hood or name inside with the model number. I researched on line to find the shape and measurements for replacement filters and ordered two from AppliancePartsPros.com. The original filters were held in by clips and the ones I ordered just set in but I was able to use the cleaned metal filter with the new filters and they work fine. 

Ordered replacement lens cover and charcoal filter. Both arrived in perfect condition and fit perfectly. 

I can't find the part I was looking for anywhere else it's why I order from you guys and I was impressed with the good service and the fast delivery so I take care of the issue on less than a week thanks for the help 

New parts 

After going the the big box stores and not finding the replacement range hood filter I needed there, I started my search on-line. Ordered a new filter ane changed it. 

The new charcoal filter arrived in two days and I popped the old one out and popped the new one in just that easy. 

Took old out put new in. no problem.
