While searching for replacement wheels for the dishwasher rack, I discovered that there was an upgrade for the entire lower rack. It cost a little more than just getting the separate parts, but clearly it would solve the problem, not just delay it until the wheels and axles and clips broke again. And the comments from others confirmed it. Amazingly, after placing the order in the morning, it was on my doorstep at 10 AM the next morning!
