How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP6986462 / WD28X25960 Lower Rack Assembly

I made my first order with just the make (GE) and Model (Monogram) What was shipped first appeared to be a generic GE rack set. I read some other folks post and some said they made minor adjustments to these racks and they worked fine. I was not happy with the fit and returned the first set. The next set was ordered with Make, Model and Serial number. What was shipped this time are direct replacements for the original racks. A perfect fit. My bad for not including enough information on my original order. These folks have what I needed, I neglected to provide enough information on my fist order. 

I ordered a new one and the quality of it was much better than the original. I shouldn't have broken wheels anymore! YES!

We order a new bottom dishrack and replaced the old one. SO easy! Wheels came already installed on the rack, so it was just open the door, take out the old rack, and roll in the new one! We are impressed with this company. We ordered one day and it arrived the next......wow! 

Replaced both upper and lower racks. Took 12 minutes to transfer existing upper rack bracket and spray arm ( wife timed me) and install on runners. Just pulled out and replaced lower rack. Replacements appear better and more heavy duty than originals, but not as many hinged thingys. Expensive parts, but lots cheaper than new dishwasher. 

It was so easy. I lifted out the old rack and slid in the lower rack. It took me longer to open the box! It only took two days to receive the part. The online ordering told me the correct part for my model. The new rack is much nicer than the old. 

The ordered new part arrived within days. Change out no problem. 

Ordered a new rack. Very pleased with how quickly my order was shipped and received. 

Replaced racks. Racks fit fine but the adjustable arms needed to be moved in order for the top rack to fit. Also the instructions were not legible. However, I was able to replace both new racks by comparing to the old racks. This took extra time because the screws for the upper rack arm were screwed into plastic and were difficult to remove. 

Bought new replacement part and installed it.
