Danny W Eastport , ME February 13, 2021 Burned cover replacement, should include a new pin! Replacement of the cover and fan was a 5-minute job. However, the cover does not include the retaining pin that must be removed to rotate the cover for removal. I was able to get the pinout intact......or so I thought. The ribs that hold it in place came off. So even while the pin was in one piece, it would not stay in place. I read something about this, to save the pin. So, I had no usable pin. The cover fits very snugly, so I don't think it would be an issue. HOWEVER, a pin should be INCLUDED with the cover assembly. I feel like the job is only half done, even though it's perfectly functional. What would it cost to include a NEW pin? I would even order one, but I don't think it is available.
